It's that time of year again! 

Selling by the 1/2 side, all cut, wrapped and frozen. Includes ham, bacon, sausages, chops, roasts, etc. This meat has be raised with no hormones or chemicals. 

I went to see a Micheal Buble concert last weekend and stayed at the Aviawest in Vancouver (located in the Rosedale on Robson) - it was so awesome!

Diana joined Aviawest on August 19, 2010 as a Sales Co-ordinator for the Parkside Victoria Preview Centre. 

Her last job was working in sales with DirectBuy, and previous to that she worked for the federal government, providing research and administrative support.

Darren joins us on a six-month contract in the accounting department, where he will be working closely with me to improve our payments processing and customer financing systems. 

Darren is a recent graduate of the UVIC Bachelor of Commerce program and has experience working in the banking industry. Welcome Darren!

I work in the Nanaimo office at the reception desk and am getting ready to head off on my maternity leave!

September 2 is my last day of work and I am due with a baby boy on September 9. My partner Marc and I are very excited about the new little bundle that will soon be such a huge part of our lives. 

Although I am very much looking forward to having a year off to spend with our new addition, I am still going to miss my co-workers - I will be in to visit and catch up when I can!

I would like to announce that Kinda McGowan is leaving her Innkeeper post at the Rosewood. 

Everyone who knows her or has tasted her desserts will miss what she has brought to Aviawest and on behalf of our organization, I would like to thank her for all of her hard work and wish her the best in all her future endeavors. 

Please join me in welcoming Daniel Melnyk to the Aviawest team in his new position as Revenue Manager.

Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge around building up our hotel/room rental side of the business from his experience at the Marriott Hotel in Victoria. 

Daniel will be working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Accounting to ramp up our hotel room rentals and to help build our online presence for hotel bookings.
